Kitty Cosmo's Toilet Training: What Happened?

Jen recently made the following comment on our last Kitty Cosmo post, Kitty Cosmo: Chapter 5 Part 2… And then what happened? As far as I can tell, this is the last kitty Cosmo post (sorry I’m a bit late discovering this blog). Did you get it all sorted in the end? We know our adventures with Kitty Cosmo’s toilet training is one of our readers favorite topics, so I wanted to give everyone an update. Well, Melanie and I left for our wedding just a few weeks after our last Kitty Cosmo post and then moved out of our [Continue Reading...]

Kitty Cosmo: Chapter 5 Part 2

As you read in the last post, our small hole insert method didn’t work for our kitty Cosmo. She just stopped going to the bathroom. Kitty Cosmo: Chapter 4

Kitty Cosmo: Chapter 3

Are you ready for the latest update on how kitty Cosmo’s toilet training is going?  One day last week, in an act of cunning and James Bond-ish skill, Mark and I secretly hid kitty’s old litter box in the storage closet of our patio and left only the intermediate box in the bathroom.  Then, I sat at my desk (which has a view of the bathroom down the hall if I lean back in my chair), and waited for her to discover the changes. Several minutes later, she wandered into the bathroom.  She had two paws up on the box. [Continue Reading...]

Am I destined to become an Amazon woman?

It’s day 2 of our Year of No New Plastic, and the only time I’ve been scared about the consequences of this experience so far was yesterday when I realized all razors (that I know of) are made with plastic.  I mentally panicked last night when I came to this realization.  I immediately thought, maybe I can just buy a lot before we start our No New Plastic project.  That’s when I realized we were already twelve hours into it.  I wondered if this would be the one area I would cheat in, even though I cringed at the thought.
