I just used up the last of our homemade laundry detergent, but was able to make a whole new batch before the small load I put in the washer was even done. It took me less than 10 minutes to make the new batch. Our original method for making our homemade laundry detergent was hand-grating a bar of soap and then mixing it with borax and baking soda.
